The TH1171 steel cored flip line in this kit comes complete with a triple action karabiner on a swivel for easy attachment to your climbing harness, and a robust abrasion protector to prolong the life of the flip line sheath. The cutaway strop included in this climbing kit is an essential safety item which should be incorporated in the setup, to aid rescue in an emergency. Install between karabiner and harness as a link which can be cut if the climber needs releasing from the tree. The rope grab is used at the other end of the flip line to adjust the length.
