When you invest in petrol garden machinery from Sammie’s, it’s not always the best idea to receive the machine fresh out of the wrapper. Many of these machines are not factory-configured to perform at their best. To ensure your equipment is dependable from the very first start, our experienced team can carry out a rigorous Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) on certain machines before they leave our workshop. Just look for the ProStart logo on the product page.

EXPERT ASSEMBLY

We unbox and assemble the machine exactly as required for operation. This allows us to check that every component fits precisely and that all safety mechanisms are fully functional.

FLUID & FUNCTION TEST

We add the correct grade and quantity of oil and fuel to run the machine up. Testing the engine under workshop conditions ensures it starts reliably and runs smoothly.

SAFE REPACKING FOR TRANSIT

To comply with strict transport safety regulations, we completely drain the test fuel before dispatch. The machine is then carefully repacked into its original manufacturer’s box, ready for secure delivery to your estate, farm, or garden.

ProStart for Mitox Machinery

If you are purchasing from the Mitox range, a thorough ProStart PDI is particularly useful. These machines arrive from the factory with preset engine configurations that do not always deliver the optimal performance required for rugged British conditions.
We have a set price of £15 for a Prostart Mitox PDI Service.

Component Verification:

We unbox the machinery and meticulously check that every single item, tool, and accessory is present.

Precision Carburettor Tuning:

We fuel the machine and run the engine up to carry out essential carburettor adjustments. Through fine-tuning, we ensure the engine delivers its full power output with reliable throttle response, rather than relying on standard factory settings.

Drain & Dispatch:

Once we are satisfied the engine is running to our standards, the fuel is safely drained, and the machine is securely repacked for transit.
