The STIHL Light P04 Guide Bar combines advanced engineering with practical weight reduction.
Its body comprises three steel plates that are strategically hollowed and electrically welded, with the resulting cavities filled using glass fibre reinforced polyamide. This hybrid construction delivers up to 30% weight savings compared to the Light 04 model in the equivalent 35 cm / 14" size, reducing operator fatigue during extended cutting sessions whilst maintaining structural integrity and durability.
