The STIHL RMA 448 RV is a battery-powered self-propelled lawn mower engineered for homeowners tackling medium to large gardens.
Part of the innovative 4 Series cordless range, it combines lightweight design with whisper-quiet operation, ideal for early morning or evening mowing without disturbing neighbours. The durable polymer rear roller creates professional lawn stripes, whilst the lightweight, rust-proof double-layered polymer deck delivers stability and longevity. UV-resistant construction ensures years of reliable performance. With a 46 cm cutting width and central height adjustment (15–60 mm), it adapts to your lawn's needs in seconds. Powered by the interchangeable AK System, the RMA 448 RV can accept two AK 30 S batteries simultaneously. When one depletes, switch instantly to the second, no downtime. A single charge covers lawns up to 340 m². Choose between cut-and-collect with the 52-litre grass box or mulch mode for nutrient-rich clippings. The variable self-drive system (2.0–4.5 km/h) lets you set your own pace, whilst Eco Mode maximises runtime. Height-adjustable comfort handlebar and smooth-running wheels make extended mowing effortless.

Much lighter that my old petrol honda and easier to handle. Stores nicely folded up but still a bit too heavy to carry although can be wheels about in the folded position. Handles the 1 in 10 incline of my front lawn with ease the new clam shell basket is taking a bit of getting used to but it works well. Very pleases so far.
