Features:
- STIHL EC-Engine - The STIHL brushless electric motor (EC) is very energy-efficient and practically maintenance-free. Thanks to its outstanding efficiency, the battery power is directly translated into impressive performance. During operation, the electronically controlled EC motor permanently monitors the load and adjusts the engine accordingly.
- Battery slot - AP batteries can be inserted directly into the battery slot. This will make your work even more mobile and flexible.
- Air filter with metal mesh - The easy-to-clean air filter ensures a long service life and optimum engine cooling.
- Ergonomic control handle with speed adjustment - The speed can be controlled in three stages using the ergonomic control handle, which has a built-in LED display. This ensures energy-efficient work and longer running times.
- Quick-release coupling - The quick-release coupling allows the KombiSystem to be quickly dismantled into two parts for easy transport and storage – and then reassembled quickly without tools.
-
Loop handle - The loop-handled grass trimmers and brushcutters are ideal for working in areas where space is limited, e.g. thinning between bushes and shrubs.

Really impressed with this bit of kit. It’s got plenty of power for what I need day-to-day, but without all the noise and hassle of petrol—which makes a big difference working in people’s gardens.
It feels well balanced and not too heavy, so I can use it for longer stretches without it becoming a chore. The best part is being able to swap attachments quickly—saves space and means I’ve basically got multiple tools in one.
Battery life is decent, though if you’re doing heavier work you’ll get through it quicker—but that’s to be expected with cordless.
Overall: A solid, reliable upgrade that makes everyday jobs easier and more efficient.
Great bit of kit but it does have its limitations.
Firstly using the higher capacity batteries makes it uncomfortably heavy for hedge trimming work, i stick with a AP200. It's plenty powerful enough, but using it on max setting constantly, will eat up the run time. Constantly resetting the safety lockout soon gets wearing when doing stop start work, like up and down a ladder while hedge trimming.
Finally, i can edge a lawn properly with relativity ease. Took a little while to set the depth & learn to hold it back (a bit like a lively pup) but then did an edge in 10mins instead of 30mins like with a half moon.
Sam Turner & Sons did it again, great bit of kit.
