At the cheaper end of the Stihl range but robust enough to cope with my extensive holly hedge. Having burnt through three cheaper trimmers in the last two years I went for this semi professional piece of kit and currently am glad I did. Did the job on my 140ft long by 10ft high hedge with ease. Positives are the battery life, cutting effeciency and long reach. Down side is that it is heavy.
This really is a very competent and well made machine. Good thoughtful design. Not too heavy. If it were lighter I'd be wary of dubious quality materials. As it is, it is strong and cuts superbly. Long run time with an Ak 20 battery too. Worth every penny!
I have not actually used it yet but it looks a good piece of kit. I would just say the service from Sam Turner and Sons was excellent.
A job that took 2hrs and involved cables, ladders and time now takes 30 minutes.
It uses batteries we already have from the fabulous stihl system and reaches those awkward heights.
