The blower has 3 power settings and an additional boost mode. I've found the lowest power setting to be more than adequate for many different types of jobs as the turbo can be easily tapped into to make up for any lack of power on the lowest setting. I use either the 300s or 500s batteries depending on the power demands and will sometimes use it on the AR3000s backpack battery for bigger jobs despite the battery adapter cable feeling a little off when doing so. It's a robust unit, as it has been dropped countless times and still continues to work as new. I like the convenient power lock button that locks the revs to a certain airflow to free up tension on the fingers and hand, and, of course, there's no horrible vibration of fumes which adds to comfort of use. The additional benefit over 2 stroke machines also is the fact that it can be used upside down and vertically if needs be without any power loss.
