Perhaps it's just my opinion, but for me the watering holes in the rose are too big, so that the water comes out too quickly and is too uncontrolled. Not only does the watering can drain too quickly as a result, making it difficult to dose smaller amounts over a larger area, but the rush of water creates too much force for some of the more delicate plants.
