Pfanner Gladiator Outdoor Work Trousers are manufactured from the same robust outer fabric used in Gladiator Chainsaw Trousers, providing a tough solution for those working in forestry, horticulture and other outdoor activities that don’t require chainsaw protection.
The Gladiator fabric used on the front of these trousers is extremely tough and durable and is water, oil and dirt repellent as well as being abrasion resistant. Something special about the fabric is that should you be unfortunate to puncture the fabric with a tool, nail, barbed wire or a large thorn, the hole will not grow and the fabric will not rip any further. This is achieved with the re-enforced yarn grid running through the fabric that prevents tearing. Overall, you will have the confidence to work in challenging environments and concentrate on the job in hand rather than worrying about your clothing.
On the back of the trousers, the Stretch-AIR fabric provides wearing comfort and the zips at the back of the knees allow for additional ventilation when required. The lining, made from a functional material is comfortable against the skin. The knee reinforcements, which can be fitted with knee pads, and the inside leg cuffs are made from Kevlar giving greater protection in these vulnerable areas. Detachable internal gaiters, with boot gripper, protect from ticks and stop dirt, snow and other particles from getting into boots.
With the durable front material and stretch fabric on the rear, these are the perfect climbing trousers for people requiring both comfort and durability.
