Protect grazing livestock from hypomagnesaemia with a highly palatable, weather-resistant magnesium feed lick.
Formulated specifically with a sweet, enticing base, this 20kg free-access tub ensures reliable daily magnesium intake for cattle and sheep during high-risk spring and autumn flushes. A great choice if you are looking for a dependable, labour-saving supplement to support nerve function, muscular health, and overall pasture productivity without complex feeding regimes.
Details and Pasture Management Benefits of Owens Sweet Mag 15
- Targeted 15% Magnesium Level: Supplies concentrated, readily available magnesium to protect grazing stock during rapid grass flushes, helping to prevent grass staggers and metabolic stress.
- Enhanced Palatability: Blended with a sweet molasses carrier that encourages consistent, voluntary licking, even among timid animals or stock grazing lush, watery pastures.
- Weather-Resistant Formulation: Poured into a durable, heavy-duty tub designed to shed rain, minimising waste from damp pasture run-off or livestock knocks.
- Dual Livestock Suitability: Formulated to safely provide supplementary magnesium for both beef cattle and breeding ewes, simplifying seasonal grazing management across mixed farms.
- Reduced Labour Requirements: Delivers a practical free-access solution for outdoor fields, reducing daily handling and feeding chores for stock keepers managing remote paddocks.
- Balanced Trace Mineral Support: Fortified with complementary essential minerals to aid ruminal digestion, helping animals extract maximum nutritional value from grazed forage.
