The Princess 42 Li Kit is quiet, lightweight, and being battery operated you don’t have long leads snagging on plants, furniture and steps.

There are six changeable cuttings heights, all from one simple to use handle, and you have the choice to either collect the cuttings in the spacious 50-litre plastic grass catcher or to mulch them to add essential nitrogen-rich fertiliser back onto the lawn. The Princess 42 Li Kit offers a wider cutting width for the larger lawn but is still lightweight thanks to it's durable polypropylene chassis, making it easy to manoeuvre around any medium to large sized garden. A front comb eases grass up to be cut, the 42cm wide blades create a sharp, clean cut and the rear roller produces the perfect striped effect for your lawn.

The new Freedom 500 battery-powered range of garden tools and mowers offer all the power of petrol but with the convenience of cordless. The range is powered by STIGA E-Power 48V Lithium-Ion battery technology with interchangeable batteries and offers lightweight and ergonomic garden tools for all your gardening needs.

The Princess 42 Li Kit is an impressive hand-propelled battery-powered mower with every feature you need to produce a perfect lawn finish. The Princess 42 Li Kit comes with one 4Ah battery and a standard charger and along with a 2-year warranty. Suitable for gardens up to 400sqm with a run time depending on conditions of 20mins. With every garden task covered, have you checked out all the other tools in the Freedom500 series that all use the same battery system?

Loud Clicking Noise

I purchased a 420Li last September 2021
I started to use the machine in mid February after the winter Break
All was well until Mid March when the machine started make a loud clicking noise every 10seconds or so as I pushed the mower along.
On finishing I examined beneath the mower and at first could not find any sign of what was causing the problem. Eventually I spotted the problem on the rear roller which is in two parts with interlocking "keys" holding it together. I snapped them together and assumed the problem was solved . All was well until half way through the next mowing when the clicking started again. I clicked the keys back into place and managed to complete without further ado. Has anyone else had the same problem??
