Mitox 28MTA 5-in-1 Petrol Multi-Tool Select

I'm at self-employed gardener and I've used the Mitox 28mt system repeatedly for five years now.
I purchased one from this company, PDI completed label on the box and yet the engine was locked solid on arrival. The pull cord was jammed so it's never been started and therefore has never had a PDI.
I informed Turners who told me to return it at my cost. Yeah that.
I did request a FULL REFUND not a replacement; I rapidly bought a replacement elsewhere.
I asked for clarification of their PDI process and what was wrong with the machine after their mechanic checked it.
I was told by email that they didn't need to answer these questions as they were giving me a full refund. Rather rude in my opinion.
I pushed for answers and was told they could only give me the information that they had.
So the company I bought it from couldn't tell me their own PDI process nor what was wrong with it. That's simply ridiculous.
I explained that I had lost time, money and was further out of pocket because that machine had not had a PDI as per their label.
Again they simply were uninterested in my comments.
I'm not the first person to question their PDI process; see other reviews.

I was eventually told "no fault was found".
So aged 54, running my own business for 5 years, do my own accounts and I've kept my children alive for 30 years; I'm suddenly a complete idiot! I apparently returned a non-faulty item that I could have used to keep my customers happy and me in employment! I think not readers.

So I gave up on Turners and contacted Mitox directly; who are investigating the whole process and lack of courtesy given to me.

I did receive a refund but I have lost time, custom and money; because I had to buy two due to their failures and I had the return postage deducted from my original payment.

Turners lost nothing but a returning customer.
I've spent hundreds of pounds with Turners previously; never again.

Mitox have been amazing, I don't blame them or their machinery. Problems with machinery do arise and a simple PDI would have found the fault before posting out.

By all means buy Mitox; just not from Turners.

Ordered the Mitox 28mt from Sam Turner.
When ordering there was a countdown timer. If I ordered on the Monday I'd receive on Wednesday the same week. However this wasn't the case. 5 days late. The sticker on the box claims it had been given a thorough pre delivery inspection. What absolute rubbish! The strimmer head is missing and no instruction booklet.
Rang the company and they want a photo of what in the box. Which seems utterly pointless.
A shambles of a company!

I have used all the tools in this kit for just a few hours, particularly the hedge trimmer including with the 1m extension. Everything worked fine and trimmed various shrubs and Leylandii trees very well. The build quality is heavier than I imagined so now it`s just down to how durable this is - time will tell.
Early impressions are that this is a lot of kit for the price and it seems well made so if it lasts then a good product.

The item was carefully delivered inside a stout box. A PDI had been carried out - Pre-Dispatch-Inspection so it is not surprising that everything reached me in perfect condition. Everything appears to be in proper working condition. Because of other commitments, I have not been able to use the multi-tool yet. I am confident that things will be fine when the time comes. I am grateful to this thorough, professional seller. I shall be pleased to shop with the seller again.
