• Exhaust Cover: To keep you protected from the Hot Exhaust System, the Log Splitter features a Galvanised Steel Exhaust Guard that protects your hands from the hot exhaust and also protects the exhaust from damage whilst the Log Splitter is in use.
• Two Stage Hi-Lo Hydraulic Pump: All of the cutting force is delivered from the Honda GX200 Engine via a Two Stage Hydraulic Pump that delivers the cutting force as required, at an impressive 11 Gallons Per Minute, making the Log Splitter both Powerful and Reliable.
• Log Retainer/Guards: To accompany the Strong and Durable Anvil at the base of the Cutting Column, we have also incorporated a pair of Hinged Side Guards that help to keep the Log in its correct position whilst being cut and also stop the “Split Log” from falling sideways.
• Three Position Control Column: The Log Splitter houses its control levers on a rotating, 3-Position Column that allows the operator to position the Control Levers to a position that is comfortable for use and allows a good view of the cutting operation, whilst keeping the user away from the cutting head.
• Two-Handed Safety Control: Ifor Williams Trailer puts Safety at the forefront of any product. To ensure the safety of the operator, the Log Splitter incorporates a “Dual Lever” type control that requires the operator to use both hands to operate the machine and also includes a spring return so that when the levers are released, the Log Splitter Ram retracts, ready for the next cutting cycle, saving the operator time whilst delivering safety.
• Log Stripper: The Log Splitter incorporates a handy “Log Stripper” that can be used to remove logs that are trapped on the cutting head, making removal effortless. It is spring-loaded so that it stays out of position, but is easily deployed when required.
