      Well made goretex boots.

My first experience of Haix chainsaw boots were back in 2002.They had a metal plate in the sole felt like you had Ski boots on.These were lethal when branch walking as there was no flex in the sole.Twenty years later these Haix Ultra 2.0 gtx are very well made.and fully waterproof. They offer a lot of support around the ankle upwards. They do offer some flexibility in the sole being metal free.

      Well made goretex boots.

I first had a pair of Haix chainsaw boots back in 2000 with metal in the sole and these boots were absolutely dreadful.Haix still sell them👎They were like Ski boots to walk in.You need flexibility in the sole when branch walking in the crown of a tree. The Haix protector ultra 2.0 GTX boots are metal free and do have some flex in the sole. They are very supportive around the ankle.I usually take a size 9 but the size 8 was a better fit for me.I have been in forestry/tree surgery for 38 years and would reccomend these boots. They are comfortable, give ankle support.and are fully waterproof.
