Transform your garden with a non-stop summer carnival of compact, weather-resilient blooms.
A fantastic value-for-money half-hardy annual belonging to the free-flowering Petunia multiflora class. Reaching a neat height of 35cm, this robust mixture is celebrated for its compact, bushy, and semi-trailing habit, producing a profusion of weather-tolerant flowers that range from soft pastels to vibrant solids and striking, eye-catching star patterns.
Details:
- Botanical Name: Petunia multiflora, a premium multiflora type known for superior weather resilience and high flower counts.
- Spectacular Confetti Mixture: Features an expansive palette of beautiful garden colours, including rich purples, deep reds, soft pinks, and unique, high-contrast star-striped varieties.
- Superior Multiflora Resilience: Unlike grandiflora types, multiflora petunias possess smaller, tougher blooms that bounce back exceptionally fast after heavy summer downpours.
- Bushy & Trailing Habit: Grows with a beautifully balanced, dense framework reaching a height of 35cm (14in), creating a lush, cascading curtain of colour in elevated displays.
- The Ultimate Container Choice: An absolute must-have for maximizing space in hanging baskets, window boxes, patio planters, and tight border fronts.
- Sun-Loving Performance: Thrives beautifully when positioned in full sun, rewarding you with an unbroken, dense canopy of fresh blooms from early summer right up until the first autumn frosts.
Care Instructions:
- Sow seeds indoors from late winter to mid-spring on the surface of a moist, premium, fine seed compost. Do not cover the seeds, as petonias require light to stimulate germination.
- Place in a propagator or a warm, bright windowsill at a steady 20–25°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, prick them out into individual pots to grow on in frost-free conditions.
- Gradually acclimatise the plants to outdoor conditions before planting out into well-drained soil after all danger of frost has safely passed, and deadhead regularly to maximize the flower display.
