A premium F1 hybrid variety belonging to the high-yielding Capsicum family, specifically bred for culinary excellence. Details:

Details:

  • Botanical Name: Capsicum annuum, a superior and highly productive F1 hybrid hot pepper.
  • Impressive 15cm Fruits: Produces beautifully long, tapered, and substantial chillies averaging a generous 15cm (6in) in length.
  • Pungent & Fiery Flavour: Packed with a deep, aromatic, and hot flavour profile that adds an authentic, sharp kick to traditional curries, hot stir-fries, and homemade salsas.
  • Versatile Harvest Windows: Highly versatile; pick the fruits while they are green or light green for a crisp, punchy bite, or allow them to fully mature to suit your kitchen needs.
  • Excellent for Drying: The skin and flesh drying properties make this variety perfect for dehydrating or stringing up, allowing you to grind them down into your own customized chilli flakes and powders.
  • Compact Space-Saving Habit: Develops into a neat, stocky, and bushy plant, making it an excellent, high-yielding choice for greenhouse borders, sunny patios, or warm kitchen window ledges.

Care Instructions:

  • Sow seeds indoors from late winter to mid-spring in trays of moist compost, keeping them in a warm propagator or on a bright windowsill at a steady 20–25°C to ensure successful germination.
  • Prick out individual seedlings into small pots once they are large enough to handle, and grow on in warm, frost-free conditions until they are ready to move to final containers or greenhouse borders.
  • Position in full sun, stake with a short cane to support the weight of the large 15cm fruits, and feed weekly with a high-potash tomato fertilizer once the first flowers begin to set.
