Introduce striking architectural height and crisp summer colour to borders and cutting beds.
A classic large-flowering variety, Serena produces tall spires packed with ruffled, pure white blooms from midsummer to early autumn. A great choice if you are looking to create high-impact cut floral arrangements indoors or add structure to the back of sunny cottage borders.
Details:
- Dependable Summer Blooms: Carries densely packed flower spikes that open gradually upwards, offering a long-lasting display throughout July, August, and September.
- Impressive Garden Height: Reaches a mature flowering height of approximately 100cm (40 inches), making it ideal for planting towards the rear of perennial borders.
- Excellent Cut Flower Quality: Strong, upright stems make this variety an exceptional candidate for fresh floral vases, keeping its form well after cutting.
- Pack Size: Supplied as a pack of 10 high-grade planting corms, selected by Taylors Bulbs for robust growth.
- Planting Position: Thrives in a sheltered, sunny location in fertile, moist but well-drained soil.
- Planting Advice: Plant corms roughly 10cm to 15cm deep from spring onwards, once the danger of heavy winter frost has passed.
