Care Instructions:

• Sowing: Sow seeds thinly outdoors from March to July in well-prepared, stone-free soil. Sow at a depth of 1cm in drills spaced 30cm apart.
• Thinning: Once seedlings are large enough to handle, thin them to 10cm apart to allow the globe roots sufficient room to expand.
• Watering: Maintain regular and consistent moisture levels, especially during dry summer spells, to ensure the roots remain tender and do not become woody.
• Soil Preference: Thrives in a sunny position in fertile, well-drained soil. Avoid freshly manured ground to prevent the roots from forking.
• Harvesting: Pull individual roots as required from June through to October. For the most delicate flavour, harvest when roots reach the size of a golf ball.
