The Mendip Log Cabin from Forest Garden is a spacious, mid-sized garden building with a modern pent roof design.
Measuring 5m wide by 4m deep, this cabin offers a versatile space with a generous floor area of 17.5m² (188 sq ft). Its 45mm thick interlocking log walls, 19mm tongue and groove floor and roof, and double-glazed windows with toughened glass ensure excellent insulation and durability. The cabin also features double doors and two tilt-and-turn double glazed windows on the front, as well as a 3/4 length side window that can be positioned on either wall.
The Mendip’s 60cm roof overhang provides extra weather protection, and the ample natural light from the windows enhances its usability as a home office, lounge, or leisure space. The internal dimensions (4.7m x 3.7m) offer plenty of wall space for shelving, cupboards, and other furniture.
For added weatherproofing, the cabin comes with 24kg weight polyester felt and black sand felt underlay. The felt is tear-resistant and has a lifespan of up to 15 years when fitted correctly. Optional professional assembly is available, and delivery is made with a crane off-load service. The cabin should be built on a solid and level surface such as a poured concrete base.
