The Large Timber Cold Frame from Forest provides ample space for transitioning plants from the greenhouse to the garden. Cold frames help young plants acclimate to outdoor conditions, preventing growth stunting from sudden exposure to the cold.
This cold frame features acrylic glazing, a safer alternative to glass, allowing plenty of light and warmth. It has two independently opening lids with props for easy access without fully exposing your plants. For added protection, we recommend using weed block fabric. Manufactured from Pressure Treated timber, it comes with a 15-year rot guarantee. The frame includes full instructions for easy self-assembly. If growing food, we suggest lining the bed with a membrane before adding soil.
