Barbour Waxed Storm Hood

I got this at the same time as receiving a 40" Northumbria jacket. It buttons on well, producing an effective barrier to rain and wind going down the neck! The hood is surprisingly good in terms of its performance - it is deeper than Barbour hoods that I have used in the past, and has a wire in the peak, to maintain its shape and prevent vision being obscured. It folds down to a small enough size to fit into the poacher's pocket of the Northumbria jacket. Overall quite pleased with the purchase.

Ordered and received on given day just in time for its debut in storm Amy , fitted old Barber jacket perfectly and performed well in the wind and rain , sound product .

Decided to add a hood to my jacket. Obviously the shade of the jacket has faded slightly over the year still it’s a Perfect fit excellent quality. So happy and waiting for rainy & windy days ahead secure & covered.

Used the hood in anger for the first time this morning........it keeps the whole of my head dry, I have a big head and my old hood didn't cover my whole head, I came back dry and not so wind blown, think it will be permantly attached to my Border jacket now.
