Had to return as item too small but returns process and exchange well handled.
Excellent service
181cm, 40" chest, the 38" would have been too tight, but the 42" too baggy. The 42" therefore fits true to size and is the right size for me. Nice length too. This is my 4th Barbour coat - A Solway Zipper and then 2 Barbour Border jackets. The Northumbria is not as thick and heavy as the Solway (no longer made?), but thicker and heavier than the Border, both of which wore out on the pockets and sleeves. This Northumbria feels to be right for beating and shooting days in all weathers and through tough conditions (thorns, brambles, etc). Impressed with the quality, Feels premium.
I am a dinosaur. I still have my previous Northumbria (40 years old). There are a few differences, that there obviously would be, so the new one is not the same as my last one. It is still 100% waterproof, windproof, roomy with lots of pockets...
