Grass collector box for the 38.1 HM Comfort Hand Mower.

Strong grass catcher made of fabric with metal frame. Low weight - only 1.1 kg. With practical metal hook for easy hanging and unhooking on the cylinder mower.

Hand mowers are classics among lawnmowers. They are handy, efficient and work without electricity or petrol - and cut very short and very accurately. As a result, they are used extensively to cultivate golf courses, sports grounds and park facilities (often as a motorised variant).

As a hand-pushed version, the AL-KO hand mower is the best-suited lawnmower for small gardens and with its special cutting technology and high-quality, hardened knives, you can mow your lawn as perfectly as if you had cut it with a pair of scissors. In short: If you want a rich, dense green as seen on the golf course, the hand mower is the right choice for you.

Still better than raking

This grass collection box is ok. It does the job but could be better. On the plus side it is easy to assemble, fits perfectly and comes with a clip on deflector that directs the grass into the box. On the down side the box is a bit long and I have, on a number of occasions, kicked it as I’ve been mowing and kicked the cut grass back out of the box. Maybe it’s my stride or something. I’ve only used it twice so maybe I’ll get used to it. I think it is quite expensive for what you get. I picked the mower up on a local sale’s Facebook page for £10 and the box was 4 times that. Still better than raking though.
