Tom Chambers Oakwell Bird Nest Box 28mm

A traditional nest box with a 28mm nest box hole, which is designed to attract species such as members of the Tit family, Pied Flycatchers and Tree Sparrows. Manufactured from Swedish redwood with a genuine slate roof. Site your nest box at least 1.5m above the ground (but not too high for maintenance). Ideally the nest box should be in a sheltered position away from prevailing wind, rain and strong sunlight. Your nest box can also be used as a roosting site during the winter months. It is best to wait until after the breeding season (October) to clean out nest boxes. Unscrew the roof and remove, clean the well with hot water and replace the roof.
