Bartoline Creocote is an oil-based treatment for exterior woods in a light brown.
British Made in the Oakmere factory. Bartoline Creocote is developed as a safer, more environmentally friendly alternative to creosote, which is no longer available for retail use. Also available in a dark shade brown.
Colour Note: Bartoline recommended that test patches are applied before general application. The final shade is dependent upon the type of timber being treated (e.g. darker wood will provide a darker brown) and any previous coating. The colour will fade with time.

Absolute rubbish, not as good as original coal tar creosote, or the many solvent wood preservers out there! This is overpriced rubbish, should be banned! I'll stick with using the proper stuff.
Have used this make for a few years to protect the fencing around our outdoor all weather arena. It goes on really well and covers really well too. Very happy with this.
