Sam Turner & Sons Ltd, founded on 1st January 1931 and affectionately known at ‘Sammie’s or ‘Turner’s’ has four stores across North Yorkshire and south Durham. Each store is as unique as the Company itself and the people that work there all with the same objective of ensuring our customer’s needs are met with the ultimate goal of being your favourite shop!

The Sam Turner’s in Northallerton is our largest store, our ‘mother ship’ it is a 36,000 sq ft building on a 6 acre site with over 100 car parking spaces and employing around 100 people! It has been described as an ‘Aladdin’s Cave’ and many a local customer has been heard to say ‘if you can’t get it at Sam Turner’s you can’t get it anywhere!’ Whilst that not may be entirely true we do have over 50,000 different lines across our core business of farm and garden supplies, garden machinery, toys and country clothing. We also have a wonderful café, with our full-English breakfast and butties being particularly popular. There is no doubt we are a unique store to the North of England offering a huge range of products with old-fashioned customer service provided as standard.
