First the service from Sam Turner. Excellent,fast and efficient, including returns. Shame it cost me to return the first one for no fault of mine.
The jacket is the usual rugged Barbour quality, with reassuring hips and fastenings. Shame about the sizing. I am a 53 chest, so ordered the 44, and it was enormous. I returned it for a 42 which fits ok, still with room for a fleece or liner. The sleeves are a bit on the long side. My previous jacket of another make had cuff straps with poppers, which would be a good feature for this one. Would be worth fitting these and reducing the number of inside pockets to balance the cost.
