I needed a storage box for an EV charger cable as we charge by 3-pin plug from an external socket, so wanted the cable out of sight when not in use. I was struggling to find boxes that would accommodate the thick cables for the charger and a heavy-duty extension lead and this worked perfectly. Very sturdy, perfect capacity, easy to open and close with one hand.

This size box is ideal for fused 4gang plug board. You have more then enough room for electrical extras like timers and usb connections for lights and/or WiFi cameras.Just plan your cable routes. Mine is amongst the bracken next to pond. Fully recommend the bigger box
