Barbour New Tyne Half Zip Jumper

Bought two of these for my husband, as he was really happy with first one. It's true to size, fits really nicely. Great description by Barbour (and Sam Turner & Sons store) where they say it is 5 Gauge - you can get sense of how thick it is. This was the main reason I bought it. Colours in images are quite accurate too. I wasn't sure when I ordered it the first time if 'olive' would turn out to be more light green than it is on picture, but it's not. Derby Tweed is also quite the same as in picture (I saw images somewhere else where it appeared lighter grey, but it's not). Delivery was really fast!

Hi all. I've had the jumper for a fortnight now and I've barely taken it off. Initially it did come up a bit to large, but, I took a chance on a very short (10minutes) cold wash and a quick blast (5minutes) in the tumbler, and it came out damp but an excellent fit. So left it to dry flat best pat it's retained that lovely wool smell . I'll be back to Sam Turner again and again

Recently purchased a Barbour Tyne half zip ... This can be described as a heavyweight sweater suitable for all especially in these times of ever increasing energy costs. It is warm, well fitting and stylish.
The first one was way too large at XXL but that was my fault, Barbour's sizing is not particularly consistent. This item was returned for a full refund, the process could not be easier and the after sales staff were very helpful indeed.
The correct size pullover was ordered and duly arrived in good order and fits superbly. I am very happy with this product.
I would happily recommend Sam Turner & Sons to anyone seeking Barbour clothing at sensible prices.
