The twin-cylinder Stiga engine is a powerhouse and when combined with the 98cm twin blade cutting deck and fully hydrostatic transmission, makes the 1638H a must-have lawn tractor.

A foot pedal controls the speed of the tractor, the cutting blades are engaged and disengaged at the flick of a switch through an electronic clutch and a buzzer sounds when the capacious clippings collector is full – making it a delight to use.

  • If emptying the generous 240-litre grass catcher from the comfort of the driver’s seat is just too much effort you can fit a mulching plug (available as an optional extra) to finely cut the clippings and discharge them back onto the lawn as you mow.
