Placing Order and Contract Information

For avoidance of doubt, the advertisements appearing in this site constitute an invitation to treat. If you wish to purchase goods from us you should order by adding the item to your cart and completing billing and shipping details as prompted at this site. There will be no binding contract between us until we send you an e-mail confirming your order.We reserve the right for some prices to differ to our instore prices due to postage and packaging costs.

Prices and Payment

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate and are correct at the time of entering the relevant information. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice but this will not affect any accepted orders. Delivery charges will be applied during Check Out. Payment cannot be made via cheque or cash only by credit or debit card.

Availability of Stock

All orders are subject to product availability and limited stock. If the product you have ordered is not available from stock, you will be contacted by e-mail and will have the option either to wait until the item is available or to cancel your order.

Delivery Information

Generally we allow goods to be delivered 48 hours in Mainland UK but typically within 24 hours.

All orders wanting next day delivery in UK only, will have to place their order before 12pm from Monday to Thursday; these will then be delivered by approximately 5.30pm the following day. For larger stock please allow up to 7 days or more. Any delivery times cannot be guaranteed!

We do not despatch orders on Public holidays or weekends.

Risk of damage to or loss of purchase will pass to you at the time of delivery to the Shipping address provided by you, if you are not available to receive your delivery the Courier Company will hold your parcel at the closest depot and will try to deliver the following day. Please note City Link Couriers will attempt to deliver twice if you require a third attempt this would require our authorization and is chargeable at £3.00.

All items in the UK should be scanned and signed for at the time of delivery. Please make sure you are there to sign for the Delivery and if not state in the comments section during  placing the order that it can be left with Neighbours or on your back porch (somewhere safe). Once it has been left where you requested, it is no longer our responsibility.

Small Items via Royal Mail: Our current system does not automatically remove postage charges for small and light individual items valued at less than £10 e.g. small Playmobil toys. Please request toys to be sent out via Royal Mail 1st Class and postage charges will only be charged at £2.50, this will be taken off when the order is processed by the website department.

Right to Cancel

You have the unconditional right to cancel your order within seven working days from the day of delivery.

Returns Policy & Satisfaction

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for whatever reason, you may return it to us within 14 days of delivery for an exchange or refund. Items must be returned in their original or unused condition together with a valid receipt or proof of purchase and at your own cost unless the item purchased was faulty when you received it. A refund will only be given for the product purchased; this will not include postage costs.

During the Festive season items bought in December will be allowed exchanges until the 17th of January.

Sam Turners & Sons Ltd. will only be responsible for sending the item back to you once for an exchange, for any reason you expect a second exchange from us, postage costs will be charged at £4.95.

To process your return please contact us by email including your order number. Then return your package to the address set out below. Your statutory rights are not affected. You can contact us in writing, via email or telephone.

Damaged Deliveries

Large items: You must check the goods before signing for them and record on the carriers manifest if there is any damage to packaging or even refuse delivery and contact Sam Turner and Sons Ltd. Immediately to investigate. Please note failure to record any damage at the time of signing for it will result in subsequent claims for damaged goods being refused.

Small items: We try to select the correct packaging for the products to ensure they arrive in good condition. However if a product arrives damaged, faulty or with defects we will replace if free of charge, or provide a full refund (as appropriate). In this case, you MUST contact us within 3 working days if a product arrives damaged, so that the faulty goods can be returned back to us and the postage costs be reimbursed.

Postage Refunds

Sam Turners will only refund postage if it is a manufacturers fault or a mistake made by ourselves. It is advised to get proof of postage when sending it back to us and refunding will only be processed at normal Royal Mail rates. Please can you either email (info@samturners.com) or phone (01609 788 319) before despatching it back to us and to let us know the reason for the return therefore making the process quicker.

Laws and Jurisdiction

All dealings between you and this shop will be governed by the laws of England and Wales in the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising pursuant thereto.

Complaints Procedure

We handle all complaints fairly, effectively and confidentially. We will make it our priority to deal with any complaints via email, telephone or letter. Sam Turners has very high standards and will do their best to maintain it.
